Repair or replace?

Repair makes sense when the unit is under ~8 years old and the fault is minor (thermostat, resistance, ignition). Replace when it's leaking from the tank, over 10–12 years old, or repairs approach half the replacement cost. We'll give you an honest assessment — we don't push replacements you don't need.

Gas vs electric

Lisbon homes use both. Gas esquentadores heat on demand but legally require certified installation and ventilation checks. Electric termoacumuladores are simpler and common in apartments. If you're renovating, ask us which suits your usage — the wrong choice costs you every month.
